Last night, Thursday 15th December, City Eye was joined at Mettricks by film goers and filmmakers to celebrate another year of fantastic filmmaking at Festive Films.
The audience in the cosy old town Mettricks got to enjoy a two-part screening of some incredible dramas, comedies, animation, artists' moving image and short documentaries.
The filmmakers whose work was showcased last night ranged from directors with 10+ years of experience to a group of young people who had never made a film before. Films came from across the region including Farnham, Isle of Wight, Reading, Porstmouth, Farnborough and of course Southampton filmmakers were well represented too.
One of the films screened was SFW: Shorts winner of the Michael Fuller Award for Best Film and the Regional Filmmaker Prize 'Munchies' by animator, Sinead Stoddart. Sinead, pictured below, was presented with her awards at the Festive Films screening as she was unable to attend the festival in November.
