This exciting opportunity gives participants the chance to develop technical skills, confidence and creativity through film.
Meeting one evening a week during term time, the group is led by our experienced team who are eager to share their knowledge and skills. Participants will be guided to explore all aspects of the filmmaking process. The group has worked on documentary and drama, learning skills and gaining experience in a number of different settings.

Summer Youth Film Project - Bugsy Malone!

For the summer of 2024 we invited young filmmakers to join up with the Mayflower Summer Youth Project to film rehearsals in the lead up to its show, creating a short documentary of the process.

City Eye is proud to be an Associate Partner of Mayflower and of its regular collaborations with Mayflower Engage, the theatre's education and outreach team. Mayflower and City Eye Young filmmakers is our programme of workshops and training delivered in partnership for the 12 - 17 age group.
