City Eye offers a whole range of support to filmmakers whether you are a first timer or have a few films under your belt and are seeking advice or support to progress your career. From structured production awards, screenings and networking events through to one to one advice sessions and access to facilities - we aim to remove the obstacles to your progression.
We are not a funding body, but we are always happy to discuss your filmmaking projects and see where we can help. Our plans to open a new regional hub for filmmaking in the centre of Southampton are ongoing. Although City Eye is now resident at Studio 144, the building continues to present challenges preventing our independent access and therefore our ability to run our full programme in support of developing filmmakers. We persevere, however, and are hopeful that in 2022 will be the year in which we launch our full programme of events and activities.
