Each summer young people from across the region take part in Mayflower Summer Youth Project to be part of a massive theatrical production. This year, the project will take place between 29th July and 12th August with a company of 200 young people rehearsing and then performing Guys and Dolls on the Mayflower Theatre stage. This much loved tale features some of Broadway’s greatest show stopping tunes including Luck be a Lady, Sit Down you’re Rockin’ the Boat and My Time of Day.
City Eye is delighted to once again be working with Mayflower Engage to support a group of young people in providing Film and Media coverage throughout the project - from Audition to the final curtain. The Film & Media team's work will include filming, photography and creating content for social media. Click here for a little glimpse at what the Film & Media Crew have got up to in previous years.
Applications for the Film & Media Crew are currently open for ages 13-18. If you are interested in Film, Photography or Social Media submit your application before Monday 29th May. Experience is not necessary.
