Would you like to have some great fun making a short documentary film this summer?If you are aged between 12 and 18 years, you could come and join a FREE workshop to make a short documentary film about the amazing Mayflower Engage summer youth productions Grimm Tales and Summer Holiday!
We are offering 2 projects of 3 days each - each project will focus on one of the two shows - but you can sign up for one or both of these opportunities. During the project young people will work with professional filmmakers to capture the excitement of rehearsals and interview some of the cast and crew as they prepare to perform the show. Beginners and young people with some filmmaking experience are welcome. The Grimm Tales project takes place on: Monday 2nd August 10am - 5.15pm Tuesday 3rd August 9.30am - 5.15pm Tuesday 10th August 9.30am - 5.15pm The Summer Holiday project takes place on: Monday 16th August 10am - 5.15pm Tuesday 17th August 9.30am - 5.15pm Tuesday 24th August 9.30am - 5.15pm You will need: To be free to attend all 3 days of the project or projects you choose. Energy and enthusiasm! Your own drinks and lunch! A face covering - although we are no longer required to wear face coverings by law we would prefer everyone to wear a mask whilst working closely together in the group Places on these projects are limited. We have opted to work in small groups to ensure that everyone involved has the best experience and that risks to each other are minimised. So don't delay, book today! All participants or their parent / guardian if under 18 will be asked to complete a permission, monitoring and health and safety form and will be provided with further instructions about attendance by email before the project begins.
