We are giving away a couple of free spaces for the Level 1 and Level 2 Summer Film School workshops next week at SeaCity museum!

All you have to do is tell us what the current exhibition at SeaCity museum is called?

The winners will be chosen from correct answers received by the competition deadline of 12 noon on Thursday 18 August.  One winner from each age group will be given a free space for them and a friend to attend the Summer Film School workshops next week. The winners must be available between 10am-4pm on the workshop days for their age group.

Level 1 - Ages 7 -11      
1 day workshop
Date  Friday 26th August

Level 2  - Ages 12 - 16

Date  Monday 22nd & Tuesday 23rd August

Competition closes on Thursday 18th August at 12 noon. Please fill in the submission form below with your answer.

We need the above contact details in order to notify winners and to send important details about the workshops.  All participants must have permission from a parent or another adult with responsibility for them.  Consent forms and emergency details forms will be sent to the email address above.  If you are 16 or under please ask the permission of your adult before entering.

​This Summer young filmmakers can come and be part of the cast and crew making their own films inspired by the PORT OUT, SOUTHAMPTON HOME exhibition but story, genre and style is all up to you!  Perhaps it will be a story set on one of the cruise liners or a documentary (or mocumentary!) about the museum and the exhibition.  

Using professional filmmaking equipment you can develop camera and editing skills whilst having loads of fun!  Working in groups according to age, ability and friendships you will learn all aspects of the filmmaking process - from story idea to editing.
