Our partner in the Studio 144 project, John Hansard Gallery, has opened its beautiful new, expanded and purpose-built gallery with a major exhibition by Gerhard Richter. This half-term you can join City Eye and John Hansard Gallery to explore themes in Gerhard Richter's work, including personal archive and portraiture.

LEVEL 1 FILM SCHOOL (age guide 7-11 yrs)

Who are You?
Taking Richter’s personal archive theme children are invited to bring along a photo, object or funny memory that helps to tell us who they are! Children will work together to film and capture their own stories in their own words.

One-day workshops on Tuesday 29 May and  Friday 1 June - sign up for one or both

LEVEL 2 FILM SCHOOL (age guide 12-16 yrs)

Responding to Richter
Using any style or genre they choose, young people will work together to create a short film that explores and responds to Richter’s 48 Portraits, on show as part of the exhibition.

Two-day workshop Wednesday 30 May and Thursday 31 May

All of these Film School workshops will take place in City Eye's new training and production centre at Studio 144 from 10am - 4pm each day.

Visit Upcoming Film Schools for full details and booking.
