City Eye Hub Room Screenings
The City Eye Hub Room runs an occasional programme of short films, both from City Eye's extensive archive and from much further afield. This programme of shorts is often thematically linked to celebrate or focus on wider events and social issues, such as Earth Day or Southampton Pride. We launched the City Eye Hub Room Screenings to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8, 2022.
Black History Month

To commemorate Black History Month in October, City Eye will be screening a programme of short films in its hub room. Similar to our screenings for International Women’s Day and Southampton Pride, the programme will be on repeat in our hub room throughout October, available at no cost for anyone to drop in and stay for as long as they like.
The programme comprises past entries to SFW: Shorts and films made by local filmmakers, and runs for just under an hour. The programme will be screening all through October starting Tuesday 4, it is free to attend, and we can't wait to see you!

Pre-Pride Queer Shorts
To celebrate Southampton Pride, which will take place on 27 August 2022, City Eye has partnered with God's House Tower to curate a programme of queer short films which we will screen across our two venues in the run up to Pride.
