Southampton Pride

At City Eye, in the lead up to Southampton Pride 2022 we celebrated  by screening a pre-pride  programme of  Queer Shorts in collaboration with 'a space' arts, and the 2014 feature Pride, shown in partnership with John Hansard Gallery.

On the day itself, 27 August 2022, Southampton's cultural quarter hosted the biggest Pride party! From the Parade starting at Queen's Park in the morning through to the headline acts which closed  the Guildhall Square mainstage, Southampton Pride brought together people from far and wide to celebrate and promote the Pride message.

We had an amazing day documenting Pride. Transport yourself back with our gallery of photos and short films!

You can find more of our video and photographs on our instagram page cityeye_media

Thanks to Southampton Pride for permission to document the day.
