Have you thought about a career in the creative sector? We are currently looking for a confident apprentice to join our small & busy team. 2016 is a particularly significant year for City Eye as it marks its 30th anniversary, relocates to purpose-built facilities within Southampton’s new arts complex and delivers the 9th annual Southampton Film Week. It's an exciting time to join us and play an important role in making all of this happen.

Alongside these exceptional activities our day to day work will continue with the delivery of a range of projects within the community, education and training activities for people of all ages, support and guidance to those developing careers within film and media and whilst we undertake our own production work for a range of clients, many of whom sit within the cultural sector.
As our Creative Apprentice you will help us to achieve all of these targets, providing essential office and administrative support and representing and supporting City Eye at events. This is a unique, exciting and challenging time for us and offers the opportunity for our Apprentice to gain rich and diverse experience.
This role will be ideal for someone looking for an entry level position in the creative and cultural sector. It will also be useful however for someone who has a wider interest in film and artists moving image work, event management and training.

With effect from October 1st 2015 the National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.30 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent training.
