Here's
my knitting bag
With my wool,
It is blue wool,
With a pair of knitting needles,
To make a scarf.
Maybe
get it finished for Christmas.
Maybe not.
I
wish my mum would start some knitting.
But she only ever starts a line of mine.
I put it by my side on the settee,
To tempt me to do a line each day.
I
buy the wool down the market
On a Thursday or a Saturday.
Because there's not many wool shops left
In Eastleigh now.
I've
usually got about six or seven on the go.
I
always do 2 plain and 2 purl.
I look forward to starting the new ones -
Getting started.
I
don't seem to finish many.
