Learn how to develop your skills in digital storyboarding using free and accessible software with professional illustrator Jamie Williams. Develop your knowledge of the storyboard software while gaining a comprehensive understanding of how storyboards communicate ideas. Learn the language of storyboards and how they can improve your filmmaking techniques. Suitable training for teachers delivering Welsh, OCR, AQA and Edexcel examination boards in Media and Film Studies.

 This training day will cover

• History of storyboarding
• Storyboard language
• Storyboard techniques
• Understanding the digital software
• Creating digital storyboards

Please note:
City Eye can provide laptops though it is recommended that attendees bring their own so that they can keep the software. On arrival at the training day your laptop will be loaded with the software in preparation for the training (please ensure the laptop you bring has permissions to load new software). It is possible for City Eye to send a link so that software can be loaded before the training day. Please contact us if this is your preferred way of loading the software for this training day.

Course Tutor:
Jamie Williams is a professional storyboard artist and filmmaker and has worked with many clients including Hugo Boss, Burger King and Wrigley’s. Jamie has worked for several years as a Storyboard workshop leader with City Eye.
