Adobe After Effects Weekend Workshop

This individually focused weekend course for 3 attendees will teach you the fundamentals in using Adobe After Effects to help with your filmmaking, titling or web content. Attendees will ideally need to understand non-linear editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and also photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop. City Eye is a PC based company.

On the course the following skills will be covered:

Introduction of the After Effects workspace

Building and managing a project - good working practices

Animation: working with keyframes, motion paths and creating smooth animations

Animating text

Integration with Photoshop and Premiere Pro

Keying effects - working with green screen footage

3D layers - working with lights and camera in 3D space

Tracking and stabalising video footage

Effects - including colour correction, simulation and stylise effects

The puppet tool

Masks and animated masks - rotoscoping

Rendering and exporting the final project
