CITY EYE AND PROJECT WORK
As a community video company we have been very fortunate to work with a myriad of groups, organisations and individuals and have covered the spectrum of styles from evaluation, corporate and narrative videos.

If you are an arts organisation, school or group that wants to use video to get your message across all you have to do is contact us at City Eye and we will be more than happy to discuss your needs, from scripting, budgeting to shooting the production.

City Eye will negotiate discounted rates for Southampton based arts organisations, education establishments or charities on a budget because as a Charity we know what it is like to get things done with very little money or resources.

STEPS TO VIDEO PRODUCTION
How much will a ten minute film costs? How long will it take to make?
Does that come with a DVD?

Video production is a complex business, and as much as we would like to be able to inform you how long a project will take to make or indeed cost, it is not always possible to do so when we only have half the facts. We don't like dealing in "rough ball park" figures. We like to be able to give you a measured and informed opinion because each project is unique with it's own set of challenges. In order for us to help you get the answers you are looking for we have developed a VIDEO SPECIFICATION FORM which we ask anyone who is considering undertaking a video project to fill in and email/send us before we discuss details. From this form we will be better placed to discuss the project further and give you the information you will be looking for.

The form can be downloaded below, and on request it is also available as a hard copy via the post.
If you would like to discuss the form, or anything to do with City Eye and it's project work please contact David White via email admin@city-eye.co.uk or by telephone on 02380 677167

BEHIND THE SCENES
SCENES FROM THE COLLECTOR

In 2003 City Eye's Creative Director worked as Assistant Director on Lorne Guys' Screen South funded short The Collector. The film has gone on to play at festivals and can been seen online at:

and run a search for "The Collector"

Lorne told City Eye recently that, "This year The Collector will be on a bit of a world tour. New York based "International Festival for Cinema and technology" will be touring a collection of world shorts to LA, NY, Sydeny, London from Sept 2007 and The Collector will be one of those shorts."
